A customer, who had heard about my upcoming Chile ski trip, stopped by the shop a few days ago and recommended Liz and I try heli-skiing while we’re in La Parva. The classic Olivares Valley is the most amount of runs and a lot of snow can get to the bottom of the valley and taking river water. From there, only look up and see the tops of the hills all along the 6000 meters. A majestic place!
Most experts and fans ask to go to valleys as Parraguirre, Ortega, Rabicano and Tupungato. These valleys are in the heart of the Chilean Central Andes, and remarkable for its scenery which is very similar to the Himalayas.
The descents range from 2000 meters of altitude and 1500 and there are programs for 2 to 3 runs half day, and full day which is 6 or more descents.
