I skied PCMR today. Pretty uneventful day until I hit a buried shark fin of a tree stump and crashed. Not sure how it happened, but I managed to rip out the brakes on both bindings. I hiked up and found the left ski brake in pieces in the snow. The right brake was bent and some screws were ripped out. I’ve never broken a pair of brakes before. I guess I must have clipped the brake on the log directly. Time to ski my 4Frnts for the next few days. Shouldn’t be an issue considering today’s forecast:
