Mike and I rode our bikes out to a farm on Jeremy Ranch Road/Mormon Flats Road/East Canyon Road. Nothing extreme but it was a good ride, 6.5 miles roundtrip. Hobbes and Tracker did a pretty good job keeping up. That was until we stopped at the farm to check out a couple pygmy cows, some pygmy donkeys, two pygmy sheep, some regular-sized horses, and a Great Pyrenees that looked like a bleached Hobbes. It’s also worth noting that the Great Pyrenees was taller than everything but the horses.
On our way back to the car, Mike and I stopped at a culvert to let the dogs swim. Tracker made the mistake of getting too close to the culvert and was sucked in. A few seconds later he shot out the other side into a natural pool area. Within the next 30 minutes Tracker had successfully completed the “shoot-the-tube” five times. Hobbes, who is terrified of water, was tricked/pushed into body-surfing the culvert once. Even Mike and I risked potential hypothermia to shoot-the-tube. No pictures or video, but we’ll get some next time. Because we will definitely be doing it again. Until then, enjoy some pictures of Hobbes and the farm animals:
